Safety

One of the most important things for soon-to-be parents and new parents is following the safety requirements for newborns.

With all the excitement of a new little one, safety measures can be easily overlooked. We can plan out a safe environment for your home and your new baby.

Understanding

The newborn phase is such a beautiful time to get to know your little one.

Part of this involves understanding their sleep needs, sleepy cues, and how you can help them achieve their best sleep.

Setting Healthy Foundations

This is not the time to begin a structured sleep training program.  Developmentally, your baby is not ready for that yet.

However, this is time to start setting the foundations for healthy, independent sleep in the future. Your future self will thank you!

common questions

Newborn packages are perfect for babies ages 0-4 months.  At this age, a baby is not developmentally ready for a structured sleep training program.  However, they do still have sleep needs that need to be met. You can help them be well-rested and begin to set the stage for independent sleep in the future.

If your child is 4 months and older, consider a baby or toddler sleep package.

The packages differ in the level of support.

The Basic Package includes 2 emails that you can use to ask specific questions about your child’s sleep going forward.

The Premium Package includes 3 emails and 3 phone calls to more in depth with your specific questions.

In most cases, no.

However, some FSAs (Flexible Spending Account) do cover it under Newborn Care Services. Call you FSA before to find out if they will cover some of the cost.

Yes.

I offer an Ask Me Anything Call to discuss your specific question in a 30 or 45 minute format. Contact me for further information.

  • Getting your specific questions answered

Working on newborn sleep is about learning and understanding your baby.

There can be opportunities to practice independent sleep, but it is not recommended to leave a newborn to cry unattended for any length of time.
